Copthorne Squash Club VI Beat Lewes III in a close match.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. Local knowledge duly defeated the statisticians and the home team came through for a good win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 21 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, , did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 4 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 70 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, .

Player of the tie was the Home No. 2 string, , gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.
Away strings 1 and 2 are ranked too high for the 3rd team under the Ghost Player rule. Copthorne +4, Lewes -8
