Original Lewes 2 pulled out ill mid afternoon, team reordered, new Lewes 2 was always turning up late, match started with 3 & 4, then 2 never arrived!
Lewes III Lost to Copthorne Squash Club VI in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 84 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with winning through.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 59 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, .
Failure of Lewes 2 string to arrive makes all lower strings ineligible. Lewes -11, Copthorne +9.
